The book is well written and easy to read - though it covers many many *many* years worth of history and pre-history. It reads like Wells is speaking to you - which makes it less daunting. It is dated but still real and is definitely worth the time/5(41). The Outline of History is an excellent reminder that the human race sprang from common roots and challenges.
